How long can a Danish citizen stay in Rwanda?
The length of stay allowed in Rwanda for UAE citizens is determined by the type of Rwandan e-visa issued. The majority of visitors from the UAE wish to stay in Rwanda for an extended time. However, due to the Rwanda e-visa, UAE residents can only enter Rwanda for limited periods.
Visitors from Denmark can apply for an e-visa using Rwanda Immigration Services' quickest and most convenient digital interface. Citizens of Denmark can apply for one of the four basic Rwanda e-visas stated below:
- Tourist e-visa: Includes 30-day validity term that allows travelers to visit family or friends, enjoy the outdoors, and learn about Rwanda's magical beauty for 30 days.
- Conference e-visa: Danish visitors are permitted to stay for up to 30 days in order to conduct business (such as purchasing, negotiating, etc.) or attend a conference or meeting. It has a 30-day validity period.
- Transit e-visa: This type is valid for 30 days from the issued date, but Danish people can only visit Rwanda for three days. Transit e-visa is meant for those who will only be in Rwanda for a brief period of time before continuing to another country.
- East Africa e-visa: It is valid for three months and allows Danish citizens to travel to Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda without applying for an e-visa for each country.
