Does A Dutch Citizen Need A Visa For Rwanda?
Yes. Citizens of the Netherlands must apply for a visa because their country is not on Rwanda's list of exempt countries. If Dutch citizens do not have a valid visa or an e-visa, they will be barred from traveling to Rwanda at the airport. Thankfully, Rwanda has authorized electronic visa application forms for more than 100 nations, including the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nigerian nationals now have access to e-visas in order to go to Rwanda, thanks to this modification.
There are 4 main categories of Rwanda e-visa that South Africa can get:
- Tourist e-visa: Valid for 3 months from the date of arrival which allows travelers to enter Rwanda for tourism purposes.
- Conference e-visa: Valid for 90 days after being issued that permits South African who want to join a conference or meeting with the purpose of negotiating, purchasing, etc.
- Transit e-visa: Valid for 3 months from the date of issuance. This type of visa is for whose final destination is not Rwanda, allowing temporary stay for 3 days in total.
- East Africa e-visa: Valid for 90 days from the arrival date which gives South Africa citizens permission to travel between Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda with multiple entries.
Before enrolling for a Rwanda e-visa, please verify and gather all required documentation in order to fulfill the e-visa criteria before your trip to Rwanda.
