Do Minors from the Netherlands need an e visa to get into Rwanda?

Yes. Minors from the Netherlands need an e-visa to enter Rwanda. The e-visa is a requirement for all travelers, regardless of age or nationality, who intend to visit Rwanda. Parents or guardians of minors who are traveling to Rwanda should ensure that they obtain the necessary documentation, including a valid passport and e-visa, before traveling. It's recommended to check with the Rwandan embassy or consulate in the Netherlands for the latest information on visa requirements and application procedures for minors.

Before requesting for an e-visa, Dutch citizens must prepare all necessary documents in order to meet the requirements that the Rwanda government has regulated.

  • The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of your arrival in Rwanda.
  • A recently taken digital photo – Applicants must provide a digital photo with a clear face and background.
  • A digital copy of their Dutch passport's biographical page.
  • A working email address for receiving notifications and the e-visa approval

Once documents are available, the process will be smoother than ever. Netherlands’ e-visa result will be sent via email that they gave to us when filling out the application form on Rwanda Immigration Services.
